Yukiko Aruga

Yukiko Aruga is a Japanese female voice actress born on December 31st in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. She is a graduate of the AMUSEMENT MEDIA General Institute. Her career began after training, and she was formerly affiliated with the talent agencies Office Nozawa and Media Force before joining Production Ace. Her debut anime role was a teacher in the second season of Gokujo!! Mecha Mote Iinchou.
Aruga is known for her wide vocal range, taking on roles that span from young boys to mothers and elderly women. A significant early recurring role was providing the voice for a young Shido Itsuka in the Date A Live series. In 2022, she received a role credit for the character Ritsuko Amano, the biological mother of the protagonist Nagi Umino, in the romantic comedy anime series A Couple of Cuckoos. Her other television anime roles include the grandmother in the 2022 film adaptation of The Solitary Castle in the Count, Remi Harewatal in Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure, and characters in series such as Tokyo Mew Mew New, The Duke of Death and His Maid, and The Apothecary Diaries.
