Etsuko Mizusawa
Description
Etsuko Mizusawa is a Japanese manga artist whose professional work spans multiple genres, from romantic comedy to culinary manga. Mizusawa is credited as the creator of the manga series Moshi Moshi, Terumi Desu (Hello, this is Terumi), which was serialized in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Big Comic Spirits from March 2016 to February 2018. The full-color series was collected in two tankōbon volumes and is described as a telephone romantic comedy about a woman who works for a telephone company with an anti-internet policy and a middle school boy who is in love with her. An original net animation adaptation of the work premiered on Production I.G's Anime Beans app on June 8, 2018.
Prior to this work, Mizusawa provided the illustrations for the cooking manga Hana no Zubora-Meshi (Hana's Sloppy Meals), written by Masayuki Kusumi. This series was nominated for the fourth Manga Taishou award in 2011 and was later adapted into a television drama in 2012. Mizusawa has also collaborated with Kusumi on other projects, including Yako to Poko, and contributed to the anthology comic I Am a Hero Koshiki Comic Anthology: 8 Tales of the ZQN in 2016 with a story titled Even If I Become a ZQN.
