Description
Yuuki Luna is a Japanese-American actress and voice artist known for her work in anime dubbing, live-action series, and video games. Bilingual in Japanese and English, she was born to Japanese immigrants and grew up performing in numerous community shows and festivals as a kabuki stage combat artist. Her early struggles with the English language ultimately led her to study English literature at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was an active member of the LCC Theatre Company. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree, she performed with Walt Disney Parks & Resorts and traveled the world with Disney Cruise Line.
Luna has built a diverse career in voice acting, particularly for English-language dubs of popular anime and international series. She voiced the character Mari in the 2020 anime film Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop, a role that exemplifies her work in bringing animated characters to English-speaking audiences. Her other prominent anime voice roles include Cola in the third season of the animated series Scissor Seven, Hibiscus in the game Arknights, and Kana in the anime finale episode of Modern Love Tokyo.
In addition to her work in animation, Luna is recognized for her contributions to live-action dubbing.
