Ilyas Mettioui is a Belgian actor, author, and theatre director who has also performed voice work for animated series. Born in Brussels in 1988, he began doing French-language voice work for animated series as a child by chance, which served as an entry point into a career as a performer. He later trained at the IAD, a drama school in Belgium.

As a voice actor, Mettioui has lent his voice to characters in several animated series. He is known for providing the French voice for the character Tarak in the series Pokémon Journeys: The Series. His other voice roles in French dubs include Kon in the series Grojband, Flash Sentry in My Little Pony, and Antoine in Mirmo Zibang!.

While his voice acting work is part of his career, Mettioui is primarily active as a stage actor, writer, and director in Brussels. He writes and directs for the theatre, where his work often focuses on social themes and incorporates a mix of text and dance. He has also worked as an assistant director for productions, including Tiago Rodrigues' adaptation of The Cherry Orchard.
