Following this recognition, she published her debut novel, Spiral Spacetime Labyrinth, in 2015 under Shueisha's Orange Bunko imprint.

Tsujimura is best known as the original creator of The Case Files of Jeweler Richard, a mystery series that follows a university student who begins working at a jewelry shop run by a beautiful and enigmatic British appraiser. The first light novel was published by Shueisha in December 2015, with illustrations by Utako Yukihiro. As of 2026, the series includes over ten main volumes as well as short story collections and a fanbook. The series has been adapted into multiple formats. A manga adaptation illustrated by Mika Akatsuki began serialization in Ichijinsha's josei magazine Monthly Comic Zero Sum in November 2019. Before becoming a full-time author, Tsujimura worked as a world history teacher and studied abroad in Italy, experiences that frequently inform her writing. Many of her books incorporate elements of travel, history, and language, reflecting her personal interests. Her work often centers on close relationships between male duos, characterized by strong emotional bonds and romantic subtext. Tsujimura is known for conducting thorough research into real-world locations and industries, particularly gemology, which features prominently in her most famous series.
