Greg Ayers is an American voice actor known for his extensive work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime series. Born on December 7, 1968, he began his professional career in the late 1990s and early 2000s, transitioning from a background in theater and musical theater, which he had participated in since the age of six, and a prior career in information technology. He entered the voice acting industry through ADV Films in Houston, Texas, a move that fulfilled a long-held passion as a self-described anime fan.

Over a career spanning more than two decades, Ayers has accumulated hundreds of voice credits across anime, video games, and other media. His body of work is characterized by a versatile vocal range, frequently portraying youthful, energetic, and comedic characters, though he also takes on dramatic and villainous roles. He has been a prominent figure in the industry, working with major dubbing studios as the landscape evolved from ADV Films to Funimation (now part of Crunchyroll) and Sentai Filmworks.

Among his most recognized and enduring roles are Kaoru Hitachiin in Ouran High School Host Club, Chrono in Chrono Crusade, and Son Goku in the various installments of the Saiyuki franchise, a role he has voiced for over twenty years. He is also well-known for voicing the high-energy libero Yu Nishinoya in Haikyuu!!, the sadistic bear Monokuma in Danganronpa: The Animation, and the gentle hero Koji Koda in My Hero Academia. In the Dragon Ball franchise, he has voiced the villain Frost in Dragon Ball Super and Guldo in Dragon Ball Z Kai. His contributions to the field were recognized with the Second Annual BTVA Anime Dub Awards People's Choice Award for Best Male Lead Vocal Performance in an Anime Movie/Special.
