Shinichi Namiki was a Japanese voice actor born on December 23, 1969, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. He was affiliated with the talent agency 81 Produce at the time of his death. Namiki passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 50.

Namiki built a prolific career spanning over two decades, providing voices for a wide array of characters in anime, video games, and OVAs. His filmography is extensive, with numerous supporting and guest roles in popular long-running series. He is known for his work in Hajime no Ippo: The Fighting!, where he voiced the character Matsuda. He also had roles in Baki the Grappler, lending his voice to several characters including the younger Chiba Brother, Cho, and Coach Ishimaru. In the anime adaptation of Detective Conan, he appeared in multiple episodes as characters such as a fisherman and a robber. His other notable anime credits include roles in Inuyasha, Major, Golgo 13, and Zoids.

Namiki's career also included work in popular video game franchises. He provided the Japanese voice for Chen Yaowen in the film adaptation of the video game Shenmue: The Movie. He also voiced Norton Mapes in the Japanese version of the video game F.E.A.R.. In addition to his work in entertainment, Namiki contributed to educational programming.
