Naoya Fukushi
Description
Naoya Fukushi is a Japanese animation professional born in 1979 whose career spans roles in CG direction, storyboarding, writing, and original creation. He is recognized as the original creator behind the anime Kaito x Ansa and Nazotokine, for which he also served as director and producer. Beyond these original properties, Fukushi has worked extensively as a CGI director and 3D director on numerous anime series, including Parasyte -the maxim-, Tokyo Ghoul √A, My Love Story!!, Brynhildr in the Darkness, and Chrome Shelled Regios.
Fukushi has also taken on directing and co-writing responsibilities for Otsuchi Choukagura Dai Hammer, where he is credited as a co-creator. His background in karate and kickboxing has informed his work within the animation industry. His credits further include CGI direction on Blue Period, Tonikaku Kawaii ~SNS~, COP CRAFT, and The Lost Village, as well as storyboard work on The Magnificent Kotobuki. In the 2025 anime production Otherworldly Munchkin, Fukushi was listed as a co-director alongside Kei Yoshimizu.
