Ashley Botting is a Canadian actress, comedian, and writer who has performed voice roles in several animated series. Her career began with the Toronto company of The Second City, where she wrote and performed in multiple mainstage revues. She is an alumna of The Second City and has also been a regular contributor with the Bad Dog Theatre Company, developing her skills in improvisation and musical theatre. Botting earned a Bachelor of Arts in linguistics and anthropology from McGill University.

In the realm of voice acting, Botting is known for providing the voice of Nicole Spears in the 2012 animated series BeyWheelz, a spin-off of the Beyblade franchise. Her other voice credits include roles in the children's series Arthur, Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race, Odd Squad, Z-Squad, and Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series. Beyond voice work, she has appeared on-screen in guest roles on television shows such as Schitt's Creek, What We Do in the Shadows, and Odd Squad, where she also worked as a writer.

Botting's work as a writer has been widely recognized. She is part of the writing team for the television series This Hour Has 22 Minutes, with whom she won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Writing in a Variety or Sketch Comedy Program or Series in 2024. She has also written for the Emmy-winning series Odd Squad, CBC Radio's Because News, and Apple TV's The Snoopy Show. For her work in theatre, she was nominated for a Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble for Holiday! An Improvised Musical, and her one-woman show, Ashley with a Y, was named NOW Magazine's number one Toronto Comedy Show. She is a Canadian Comedy Award winner.
