Mitsuru Kido is a Japanese manga artist best known as the creator of the science fiction comedy series Too Cute Crisis. This work, which Kido writes and illustrates, has been serialized in Shueisha's Jump Square magazine since October 2019. The individual chapters have been collected into multiple tankobon volumes, with the first released on April 3, 2020. The series follows Liza Luna, an alien investigator sent to assess Earth for destruction, who instead becomes overwhelmed by the cuteness of terrestrial animals, particularly cats. Too Cute Crisis received an anime television series adaptation produced by the studio SynergySP, which aired from April to June 2023.

Beyond Too Cute Crisis, Mitsuru Kido has created other manga works. These include Curry Utopia and Nanka... Nanraka no Man, a series about a man who is abducted and turned into a superhero without being told his name or how to remove his suit. Prior to Too Cute Crisis, Kido also worked on a manga titled Happy Milly.
