The series follows two childhood friends, a man and his friend who has been transformed into a beautiful girl by a goddess, as they are transported to a fantasy world to defeat a demon lord. The story is a comedy that focuses on their awkward romantic tension and the humorous situations arising from the gender transformation premise.

The manga received an anime television series adaptation produced by OLM, which aired from January 12 to March 30, 2022, on TV Tokyo and BS TV Tokyo. The 12-episode season was directed by Sayaka Yamai, with series scripts by Toshimitsu Takeuchi.
