Shinta Fuji
Description
Shinta Fuji is a Japanese creator known for originating the light novel series Ningen Fushin no Bōkensha-tachi ga Sekai o Sukuu Yō Desu, which was later adapted into a manga and an anime television series. The series is published in English as Apparently, Disillusioned Adventurers Will Save the World.
Fuji began the series as a web novel in January 2019 on the user-generated publishing site Shōsetsuka ni Narō. The story was later acquired by Media Factory, which published it as a light novel with illustrations by Susumu Kuroi under its MF Books imprint. The first light novel volume was released on September 25, 2019, and the series concluded with its sixth volume on November 25, 2023.
A manga adaptation, illustrated by Masaki Kawakami, began serialization on Kadokawa Shoten's ComicWalker website on October 25, 2019. The English version of the manga is published by Yen Press. An anime television series adaptation produced by the studio Geek Toys aired from January to March 2023.
Fuji’s primary work, Apparently, Disillusioned Adventurers Will Save the World, centers on a party of adventurers—Nick, Tiana, Curran, and Zem—who have each experienced profound betrayal. The narrative follows their initial mistrust and their gradual formation of a new party, using their shared disillusionment as a foundation for their bonds. The story is a fantasy adventure that explores themes of recovery from personal trauma and the difficulty of building trust after being wronged by those closest to you.
