Tadayoshi Kubo is a Japanese creator known for his work in the anime and manga industries, primarily recognized posthumously as the co-creator of the action series Tesla Note. Details about his personal biography remain limited, but his professional contributions place him as a collaborator on several notable projects.

Kubo is credited as one of the original creators of the manga series Tesla Note, which he co-developed with writer Masafumi Nishida, known for his work on the superhero series Tiger & Bunny. The manga, illustrated by Kouta Sannomiya, follows Botan Negoro, a young woman trained as a government agent who teams up with a self-proclaimed top spy named Kuruma to retrieve powerful crystals known as Tesla Fragments. The series was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine from January to July 2021 before being transferred to the Magazine Pocket digital service in August 2021. An anime television adaptation produced by the studio Gambit aired from October to December 2021, with Kubo receiving credit as an original creator alongside Nishida.

Beyond Tesla Note, Kubo’s professional credits include work in production and planning roles for other anime series and films. He is listed with a planning credit for the 2016 mystery series TRICKSTER -from Edogawa Ranpo’s “Boy Detectives Club”- and the 2017 supernatural comedy The House of the Lost on the Cape. He also served in a planning capacity for the theatrical films Tiger & Bunny -The Beginning- released in 2012 and Tiger & Bunny -The Rising- released in 2014. Earlier in his career, he worked as a producer on live-action films, including the 2011 drama The House of the Lost on the Cape.
