Description
Mario Heras is a Mexican actor, singer, and dubbing director with extensive experience in voice acting for animation, live-action series, and video games, as well as in musical theater. He holds a degree in Communication Sciences and has been active as a professional actor and singer since 2006, having studied dubbing under the tutelage of Alfonso Obregón. He is also a graduate of the first generation of Stage Directors from Casazul Artes Escénicas.

In the realm of anime dubbing for the Latin Spanish market, Heras is recognized for several key roles. He voices Kakeru Sengoku in the anime series Horimiya. He also lends his voice to the character Iketeru Daga in Life Lessons with Uramichi-Oniisan. Additionally, he is part of the cast for the anime adaptation of Scarlet Nexus, where he plays the role of Kagero Donne. His other anime credits include roles in The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter, Hikaru no Go, and Sonny Boy. Beyond anime, his voice work extends to animated series such as Transformers: EarthSpark, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, and Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.

Beyond performance, Heras has significant credits as a director and music director in the dubbing industry. He served as the ADR director for the Latin Spanish dubs of Life Lessons with Uramichi-Oniisan and Tiger & Bunny 2. His work as a music director is extensive; he has directed and recorded over 300 songs for dubbing, including the opening theme for Dragon Ball Z Kai. He was the staff music director for dubbing at Estudios Candiani for approximately four years, working on projects like Plaza Sésamo. His directing work also spans video games, where he has collaborated on localization direction for titles such as League of Legends, Marvel's Spider-Man for PS4, and served as the principal director for Mortal Kombat 11.

Heras is also deeply involved in theater. He founded Resorte Teatro in 2008, a company dedicated to creating stage productions. His theatrical performances include starring roles in The Rocky Horror Show, Avenue Q, and Man of La Mancha, in which he understudied the roles of the Priest and Sancho Panza. He has also written and directed his own theatrical spectacles, such as Las del OTI and Un aplauso para el amor.
