Mitsutaka Itakura is a Japanese voice actor and actor born on November 22, 1976, in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. He began his voice acting career in 2004 with a role in the anime series Yakitate!! Japan. A significant early role came in 2006 when he voiced Kousuke Tsuda in the critically acclaimed animated film The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, directed by Mamoru Hosoda. He also contributed to the audio commentary for the film's DVD release. He continued his collaboration with director Hosoda by providing the voice for Katsuhiko Jinnouchi in the 2009 film Summer Wars.
In addition to film work, Itakura has voiced characters in various television anime series. He is known for the role of Inori Hakkai, a guard in the anime Nanbaka, which began airing in 2016.
