Alizée Lombardo

Description
Alizée Lombardo is a French voice actress whose career encompasses both stage performance and voice-over work for animation and audiobook narration. She initially built her foundation in theatrical acting, training at the École d'Art dramatique du Théâtre de l'Iris in partnership with the École Nationale de Musique et d'Art Dramatique de Villeurbanne from 2005, eventually earning her diploma in 2011. Her early career was focused on the stage, where she performed in productions of works by playwrights such as Mateï Visniec and collaborated with directors like Philippe Clément and Jean-Louis Hourdin. In 2012, she became a member of the Compagnie Essentiel Ephémère, working as both an actress and a stage director.

In 2016, Lombardo expanded her professional focus to include voice-over work. She trained at the École de la Voix under Pierre Louis Rostagnat, followed by specialized dubbing classes, which led to her joining the dubbing team at the O'bahamas studio. This training paved the way for her work in anime dubbing.

Lombardo is primarily recognized in the anime community for providing the French voice for the character Tiona Hiryute. Tiona is a member of the Loki Familia and appears in the series Sword Oratoria: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? On the Side, as well as in the main DanMachi series and its related films. This role stands as her most prominently documented credit in the field of Japanese animation dubbing.

Beyond animation, her voice work extends to audiobook narration. In 2024, she narrated the French-language audiobook edition of Damaged Goods by author L.J. Shen, which was released by HarperCollins France on the Audible platform. For this project, she shared narration duties with fellow French voice actor Stéphane Ducreux. Her career thus reflects a path from live theatre to a diverse voice-acting portfolio that includes both character work in anime and long-form narration in the audiobook industry.
