Hidetoshi Akutsu

Hidetoshi Akutsu is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on January 3, 2002. He began his career as a child actor and has built a diverse body of work spanning anime, tokusatsu, live-action film, and foreign film dubbing.

Akutsu's early career included roles in major live-action productions. He appeared in the 2012 taiga drama Taira no Kiyomori and the tokusatsu series Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, where he played the role of Go. The same year, he appeared in the film Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Wizard & Fourze: Movie War Ultimatum as the young Chikao. His work in dubbing includes providing a voice for the Japanese-language version of the Disney film Maleficent.

In anime, Akutsu has voiced numerous supporting and guest characters. He is the voice of Kosuke in the 2016 anime film Kaze no Matasaburō. His other anime credits from this period include roles in Bunny Drop, The Tatami Galaxy, Tokyo Ghoul (as a young Nishiki Nishio), Ping Pong, Meganebu!, Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! (as a young Kinshirō Kusatsu), and the film When Marnie Was There. He also had a role in the live-action adaptation of the manga 009-1: The End of the Beginning. Akutsu's career has continued into the 2020s, with a role in the 2022 series Handyman Fellow Jellyfish.
