Shio Ebina is a Japanese manga artist and original creator, born on March 8, 1980, in Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan. Her name in Japanese is written as えびなしお. She is best known as the creator of the manga series Kaseifu ga Ita. This work was adapted into an anime original video animation (OAV) in 2014, produced by the studio Pie in the Sky and categorized as a comedy. In this adaptation, Ebina is officially credited as the original author. Beyond this notable work, she is also the author and artist for the manga Morino no Kuma-chan, which was published by Shogakukan on October 30, 2020, as part of their Ciao Comics and Ciao Flower Comics imprints.
