Takeshi Mizuno

Description
Takeshi Mizuno is a Japanese creator recognized primarily as the writer behind the Brothers Conflict franchise. The series originated as a light novel project, with Mizuno credited for the story and scenario, while the illustrations were provided by the artist Udajo. The light novel was first serialized in ASCII Media Works' Sylph magazine beginning in December 2010 and was later compiled into a series of published volumes.

The original Brothers Conflict story served as the foundation for a multimedia franchise. Atsuko Kanase is credited alongside Mizuno for the original concept and creation of the series. Mizuno's work on the light novels directly led to several adaptations. The franchise expanded into a series of otome video games developed by Idea Factory and published under their Otomate label, beginning with Brothers Conflict: Passion Pink for the PlayStation Portable in May 2012.

In addition to the video games, Mizuno's original story was adapted into a manga. The manga series, titled Brothers Conflict Purupuru, was illustrated by Deathco Cotorino and serialized in Monthly Sylph magazine starting in November 2012. The property was also adapted into a 12-episode anime television series produced by the studio Brain's Base, which aired from July to September 2013, followed by subsequent original video animation (OVA) releases.

Across these adaptations, Mizuno is consistently credited as the original author or writer of the light novel series that initiated the project. The work is identified with the romance and reverse harem genres, centered on a narrative about a young woman who gains thirteen stepbrothers and the resulting family dynamics. The original light novel series was published in two distinct seasons, with the first concluding in 2012 and the second season running from 2013 to 2014.
