Chako Tsukisuzu is a Japanese manga artist born on October 2, 1974, in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. Her name in Japanese is written as 月鈴茶子.
Tsukisuzu is primarily known as the creator of the four-panel manga series Inui-san!, which began as a one-shot in Shogakukan's Ciao magazine in 2009 before becoming a full serialization. The series follows a high school girl with the surname Inui, a pun on the Japanese word for dog, who is literally a dog, along with her friend Rurumi Usagi, whose name incorporates a pun on the word for rabbit.
The manga received recognition when it won the grand prize at the 62nd Shogakukan Newcomer's Awards. Shogakukan published multiple compiled volumes of the series, with the fourth volume released in February of the year the anime was produced.
In 2014, Inui-san! was adapted into an anime featured on a Ciao Ciao TV DVD included with the August issue of Ciao magazine. Tsukisuzu is credited as the original creator for this anime adaptation.
