Ikuyo Hashiguchi is a Japanese novelist, lyricist, and anime original creator. She was born on February 17, 1974, in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. Hashiguchi is best known as the creator behind the anime series Shonen Hollywood - Holly Stage for 49 and its sequel Shonen Hollywood - Holly Stage for 50, which aired between 2014 and 2015. In addition to originating the series concept, she served as the primary scriptwriter for both seasons, writing every episode of the fifteen total episodes that comprise the two seasons.
Hashiguchi's involvement in anime extends beyond the Shonen Hollywood franchise. She is also credited as the original author for the anime Kaitō Reinya (Phantom Thief Reinya) and wrote the screenplay for its episodes. Her filmography includes work as a screenwriter for the 2015 film Gakkō no Kaidan, and she wrote the scripts for the live-action film adaptations of the manga Kimi ni Todoke, released in 2010. Beyond her work in anime and film, Hashiguchi has also worked as a lyricist for songs related to the projects she has been involved with.
