Fernanda Bullara is a Brazilian voice actress who has built an extensive career dubbing anime, animated series, films, and video games into Portuguese. Born in São Paulo on February 6, 1985, she began working in dubbing at a young age in 1992, following an initial interest in theater. Her body of work includes several notable roles in anime. She is known for voicing the character Dawn, the companion of Ash Ketchum in the Pokémon anime series, specifically in storylines such as Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl and Pokémon: Black and White: Rival Destinies, as well as in the film Pokémon Zoroark: Master of Illusions. Bullara also voiced the dual roles of the titular character Licca and her protector, Doll Licca (referred to as Dama Protetora in the Brazilian version), in the series Super Doll Licca-chan. Her other anime credits include Suito Kusanagi in the film The Sky Crawlers, Midori Mishina in Shooting Starlets Musumet, and various roles across different adaptations of the Sailor Moon and Digimon franchises. Beyond anime, Bullara has voiced a wide array of prominent characters, such as Ramona Flowers in Scott Pilgrim: The Series, Ino Yamanaka in Naruto, Tomoyo in Sakura Card Captors, and Asuka Langley Soryu in Neon Genesis Evangelion. Her work also extends to live-action dubbing for series like Victorious and 13 Reasons Why, as well as voicing Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel in the Portuguese dubs of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Over her career, her performances have been recognized with multiple nominations at the Prêmio Yamato (also known as the Oscar da Dublagem), including nods for her work as Dawn in Pokémon and as Ramona Flowers at the 2024 Anime Awards Brasil.
