Wolfgang Kühne was a German actor and voice actor, born on December 29, 1953, in Riesa, East Germany. He became a prominent figure in German dubbing, lending his voice to a wide array of characters in anime, animated films, and live-action productions for over two decades until his death on March 14, 2008, in Berlin.

In the realm of anime, Kühne is recognized for several voice roles in series and OVAs that were dubbed for the German market. He voiced the character O'Conner in the 1993 cyberpunk OVA 8 Man After, appearing in episodes three and four. His work also includes the role of Mr. Patterson in the Black Jack OVA series from 1993. His other anime credits from the 1990s and 2000s demonstrate a broad range, featuring prominently in major long-running series. He provided voices for multiple characters in the Detective Conan anime, including Bunzou Ushio, Tomoaki Okuda, and Yoshikazu Watanuki. Kühne also contributed to the German adaptations of Dragon Ball Z, voicing the characters Gozu and Spopowitsch, and to Digimon Tamers as the voice of Zhuqiaomon. Further anime roles include Kamamushi in Hinotori: The Phoenix and Beauregard in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.

Frost in Aliens, and Private Rhah in Platoon. In addition to his voice work, Kühne appeared on-screen in German television series and was active in radio and commercial voice-overs for major brands.
