Kepa Cueto is a Spanish voice actor born on March 9, 1959, in Santurce, Vizcaya, Spain. His career in dubbing began in 1986 after he completed a dubbing course at the K2000 company in July of that year. He made his professional debut in September 1986, dubbing for the films La Piel and the Basque version of Gone with the Wind, the latter directed by Claudio Rodríguez, whom Cueto considers one of his most important mentors. After signing a six-month contract with K2000 in October 1986, he began working under the guidance of established figures in Madrid dubbing, including Claudio Rodríguez, Mariángeles Herránz, and Luís Gaspar. Within a year, he was given the opportunity to direct films, and he later directed his first series, an adaptation of Don Quixote, in 1989. He left K2000 in 1990 to join Edertrack and has worked independently since 1997.

Cueto's work in anime dubbing includes a wide range of roles, primarily for Spanish and Basque language versions. He provided the Spanish voice for the title character in the Black Jack OVA series. He also voiced Vice Admiral Mifune in the Spanish dub of the anime series The Irresponsible Captain Tylor. His extensive filmography includes numerous roles in major franchises. In the Basque dub of various Dragon Ball series and films, he has voiced characters such as Krillin, Son Gohan, Tenshinhan, Dabra, and King Vegeta. For the anime Slam Dunk, he provided the Spanish voices for Hisashi Mitsui, Mitsuyoshi Anzai, and Tatsuhiko Aota. His other anime credits include Professor Moriarty in the Basque dub of Sherlock Hound, Yusaku Kudo and Gin in the Basque dub of Case Closed, and roles in Ranma ½, Mermaid Forest, and MegaMan NT Warrior, among others.

Beyond anime, Cueto has built a prolific career dubbing live-action film and television. He has been the Spanish voice for actors such as Sean Bean in The Sharp Challenge, Gabriel Byrne in Quirke, Peter Cushing in The Mummy, and Ray Liotta in Revolver. His work also extends to voice-over for documentaries, including the TVE series España: entre el cielo y la tierra, and corporate voice work for various radio stations. In addition to his voice acting, Cueto has appeared as an on-screen actor in productions such as La sombra de nadie, Lasa y Zabala, and the Basque television series Goenkale. He is also an author, having published Historias de Bora-Bora in 2017 and Diccionario GUIRI in 2024.
