He has an extensive career in anime dubbing, with one of his notable roles being the English voice of the god Ares in the Netflix series Record of Ragnarok. His performance as Ares captures the character's arrogance and boastful nature, contributing to the English-language version of the show.

Beyond Record of Ragnarok, Friedlander has voiced characters in several prominent anime series. He is recognized for his work as Tsezguerra in Hunter x Hunter and as Blam-Blam and Hellfire Flame in One Punch Man.
