Kunio Murai is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on September 20, 1944, in Tianjin, China. He is affiliated with the talent agency CUBE and has been active in the entertainment industry since 1966. Murai is married to actress Mikiko Otonashi.

While Murai has an extensive career in live-action film, television, and theater, his voice acting work is also notable. He is perhaps most famous for being the longstanding Japanese dubbing voice for the actor Harrison Ford. This long-running association includes providing the Japanese voice for Ford's iconic characters, such as Han Solo in the original Star Wars trilogy and Indiana Jones in the Indiana Jones film series. Beyond his work for Ford, his other dubbing credits include providing the Japanese voice for Gérard Depardieu in several films and for Stellan Skarsgård's character in Angels & Demons.
