Kaduho

Description
Kaduho is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator, recognized as the creator of the four-panel gag comedy series Kill Me Baby. He is a male artist born on September 13 in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, and currently resides in Tokyo. His educational background includes桐生第一高校, followed by桐生短期大学 (now桐生大学短期大学部), where he studied art and design, graduating in 2004, and later the阿佐谷美術専門学校. In his early career, he also participated in doujin (self-published) activities under the circle name腹痛ダイナー.

Kaduho is best known for Kill Me Baby, which began as a short manga published in the January 2008 issue of Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine. Its success led to a full serialization starting in the July 2008 issue of the same publication, where it continues to run. The series follows the comedic school life of an assassin named Sonya and her overly energetic, often clumsy friend Yasuna. The manga was adapted into a 13-episode anime television series by the studio J.C.Staff, which aired from January to March 2012. A subsequent original video animation (OVA) episode was released in October 2013.

Beyond Kill Me Baby, his other original serialized works includeカガクチョップ, which ran on the COMIC METEO website from 2011 to 2019, andのんかふぇ, which began serialization in KADOKAWA's Comic电击大王G magazine in 2015. He has also contributed to numerous anthology comics for popular series such as K-ON!, Hidamari Sketch, A Channel, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls. In addition to his manga work, he has provided illustrations for various projects, including end cards for anime episodes, and was involved in character design and supervision for the mobile game Kirara Fantasia.

Regarding his artistic identity, Kaduho has noted in interviews that while he enjoys surreal humor, he is careful to focus on creating gags that he believes will resonate with readers rather than solely what he personally finds amusing. His amateur work often featured anthropomorphic characters, and Kill Me Baby marked his first regular engagement with the four-panel manga format. His personal interests include cooking, playing fighting games, and a fondness for cryptids (UMA) and monsters, the latter of which once led him to participate in a costume contest themed around a mythical creature. He was also a member of his high school rugby club.
