Mami Shitara is a Japanese voice actress from Shizuoka Prefecture, born on February 29, 1984. She began her career in 2006 after graduating from the voice actor talent department at Yoyogi Animation Academy. Initially, she trained at and was affiliated with the agency Mouse Promotion, sometimes working under her birth name, Asami Shitara. In June 2012, she transferred to her current agency, Production Ace.

Shitara is known for her heartwarming and cheerful voice, which she has lent to a wide variety of characters in anime, video games, and foreign language dubs. Her most recognized anime role is Yumeha Togashi, the younger sister of a main character, in the popular series Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! She reprised this role across the franchise, including in the television series, the Lite short episodes, and the recap film Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions: Rikka Takanashi Version. In addition to this signature part, her anime career includes numerous supporting and guest roles in long-running, nationally broadcast series such as Doraemon, Crayon Shin-chan, and Naruto, as well as in shows like Natsume's Book of Friends and My Neighbor Seki.

Beyond animation, her work is extensive in other media. In the video game industry, she contributed her singing talent to the soundtrack of Final Fantasy XIV with the song Siren's Calling and voiced characters in games like Puyo Puyo!! Quest and the portable version of Puella Magi Madoka Magica. She is also active in dubbing Western productions, providing Japanese voices for projects such as the animated series Peanuts and the drama The 100. Furthermore, she is the voice behind Ai Tsutsumi, the mascot character for Tochigi TV, as part of the local idol project Maronie Yell, for which she has also performed character songs.
