Kazunori Itō is a Japanese writer recognized as the original creator of the magical girl anime television series Magical Angel Creamy Mami, which aired for 52 episodes from July 1983 to June 1984. He is credited with the original concept for the series and also wrote its story. For the manga adaptation of Creamy Mami, which was published by Kodansha from 1983 to 1984, Itō is credited as the writer, with illustrations provided by Yuuko Kitagawa.

Beyond the original television series, Itō wrote the scripts for two of its subsequent original video animation (OVA) sequels: Long Goodbye, released in June 1985, and Song Special 2: Curtain Call, released in February 1986.

Itō is also associated with the manga Magical Angel Creamy Mami and the Spoiled Princess. However, this series is a spin-off written and illustrated by Emi Mitsuki, based on the original concept by Studio Pierrot.
