Katsuhiko Kawamoto is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on February 11, 1966, in Ehime Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the theatre company and talent agency Theatre Echo. His birth name is Katsuhiko Mori.

Kawamoto pursued studies in drama, graduating from the Nihon Kogakuin College's drama department. He later attended Meiji University's Faculty of Law but did not complete his degree. He joined Theatre Echo in April 1993, marking the start of his professional career in performance.

His career encompasses both stage acting and voice work for animation and video games. While his anime roles are not as numerous as some of his contemporaries, he has built a reputation for his versatility, effectively portraying both calm and intense characters across a wide age range. In addition to acting, his personal interests include weight training, and he possesses skills in karate.

Kawamoto is most widely recognized by anime fans for his role as the explosive and artistic Akatsuki member Deidara in the long-running series Naruto Shippuden. He reprised this role in numerous subsequent Naruto video games, such as the Ultimate Ninja Storm series, and in the to Ninja: Naruto the Movie. This character remains his most prominent and defining voice role.

Beyond his signature role, Kawamoto has contributed voices to a diverse array of other anime series and films. As specifically noted, he provided the voice for the character Captain Acne in the 2013 series Train Heroes. His other anime credits include roles such as Jog in Strange Dawn (2000), Shōhei Kaneda in The File of Young Kindaichi (2000), Huegel in Cluster Edge (2005), Yano in Gallery Fake (2005), Sakon in Kekkaishi (2007), and Chinjo in Hero Tales (2007). He has also had guest roles in series like Golgo 13, Michiko & Hatchin, and Slayers Evolution-R.

His voice acting work also extends to the world of video games. In addition to his many appearances as Deidara in Naruto games, he voiced Detlef Fleisher in Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War and provided the Japanese voice for the character Meneck in the 2021 role-playing game Tales of Arise. He continues to work in the industry, with a role in the 2025 television series The Dinner Table Detective credited to him.
