Kuniko Ishijima

Kuniko Ishijima is a Japanese voice actress from Ibaraki Prefecture, born on March 4. She is a graduate of the voice actor and vocal department at Tokyo Media Academy, now known as the Tokyo Voice Actor Academy. Ishijima was formerly affiliated with the talent agency Kekke Corporation.

Ishijima's career includes a variety of roles in anime television series and films. She is known for providing voices for numerous supporting and background characters in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, particularly in Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL and Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V. In Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, her roles included the characters Summer, Kumo Tsuyuma, and a younger version of Dextra. She also voiced Naruko Unno in Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V.

In 2013, Ishijima was part of the cast for several notable projects. She voiced the character Daisagi, the Great White Egret, in the short-form anime series Dibetagurashi: Ahiru no Seikatsu, which follows the daily lives of a group of birds. The same year, she had roles in two works directed by Makoto Shinkai: the feature film The Garden of Words and the short film Someone's Gaze. Her other anime credits include the role of Princess Radia in the series Train Heroes, as well as parts in Kaasan - Mom's Life, Psychic Squad, and Battle Girls: Time Paradox.
