Shizuma Hodoshima is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on March 28, 1973, in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the talent agency M.T. Project. His career began in theater after he graduated from Toho Gakuen College of Drama and Music, initially performing with the Shakespeare Theatre Company in classical productions. He left the company in 1997 and, after periods with other agencies, has been a freelancer since 2016. In 2005, he adopted the stage name Shizuma Hodoshima, written in hiragana as 程嶋しづマ, having previously used his birth name, Shizuma Hodoshima, written with the character 鎮磨.

Hodoshima is widely recognized for his voice roles in video games, most notably as Cecil Harvey in the Nintendo DS remake of Final Fantasy IV and its subsequent appearances in the Dissidia Final Fantasy series and other related titles. Other significant game credits include Dennis Owen in Clock Tower 3 and Alvis in Xenoblade Chronicles.

His anime television roles, while less numerous, include Hisashi Jonouchi in Boogiepop Phantom, Mitsuru Ohara in Dear Boys, and a warrior, Kuroko, and Ziman in Mahōjin Guru Guru: Doki Doki Legend. In 2012, he voiced the character Master Odore in the anime series Baku Tech! Bakugan. He has also contributed voice work to numerous commercials for major brands and corporate videos.

Beyond voice acting, Hodoshima remains deeply involved in theater. He is a founding member of the performance group Seichi Pokers, which combines drama with poker-themed events, and is also part of the actor unit Triple H. His colleagues in the theater community regard him as a versatile actor known for his meticulous and calculated performances. His most notable achievement is his long-standing association with the Final Fantasy franchise, which has made him a beloved voice actor among game fans.
