Noboru Maeda
Description
Noboru Maeda is a Japanese voice actor and comedian, born on June 4, 1970, in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with the comedy duo Harikeens, for which he performs as the boke (funny man).
Maeda is best known for his voice role as Baku, the loyal sidekick and crime partner of the character Kuromi, in the anime television series Onegai My Melody. He first played the role in the original 2005 series, Onegai My Melody, and continued to voice the character in its subsequent sequels, Onegai My Melody: Kuru Kuru Shuffle in 2006 and Onegai My Melody: Sukkiri in 2007. His association with the character extended to later media, including the 2023 series Kuromi's Pretty Journey. In the Japanese version of the franchise, Maeda also performed an image song for Baku titled I'm Not the Eggplant.
Beyond the Onegai My Melody series, Maeda's other anime voice work includes roles in the 2009 series Ontama! and the 2009 series Vice Survive.
