Tsukasa Kouzuki
Description
Tsukasa Kouzuki is a Japanese novelist born on November 12, 1982, in Toshima, Tokyo. He graduated from Amusement Media Sougou Gakuin in March 2004. Kouzuki is best known as the original creator of the light novel series Ladies versus Butlers! The series was published by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko imprint, with illustrations by Munyū. A total of thirteen volumes were released between September 2006 and March 2012. The story is a romantic comedy set in an elite boarding school, focusing on a male student in the butler training department and his complicated interactions with several female students from wealthy families.
A manga adaptation of Ladies versus Butlers! was serialized in Dengeki Moeoh, a magazine published by ASCII Media Works. The manga ran from June 2008 to December 2008 and was compiled into a single volume. The illustrations for the manga were provided by the group Nekoyashiki-Nekomaru. The series was adapted into a twelve-episode anime television series produced by the studio XEBEC. The anime was directed by Atsushi Ōtsuki and aired in Japan from January to March 2010. The anime adaptation also included several special episodes. Beyond Ladies versus Butlers!, Kouzuki authored a later light novel series titled Sekai Seifuku-kei Imouto, which was announced in August 2020. In the credits for the anime adaptations of his work, Tsukasa Kouzuki is consistently listed in the role of original creator.
