Takayuki Mizushina is a Japanese manga artist recognized as the original creator behind the Lovely Muco series. His most significant work is the manga Lovely Muco, also known as Itoshi no Muko, which he wrote and illustrated. The manga was serialized in Kodansha’s seinen manga magazine Evening from April 2011 to September 2020, and its chapters were compiled into 17 tankobon volumes. A sequel manga, Daisuki Itoshi no Muco, began serialization in Kodansha’s Comic Days online publication in September 2023.
Mizushina’s work as the original creator extends to several anime adaptations of his manga.
