Mira Kawakatsu

Description
Mira Kawakatsu is a Japanese female voice actor affiliated with the agency Production Ace. She was born on May 28, 2004, in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Her early career included a role as a child in the 2019 animated film Birthday Wonderland.

Kawakatsu's most prominent role to date is as the character Berry in the original 2022 television anime series Yurei Deco, produced by Science SARU. Her performance as Berry, a central character in the series, marked a significant step in her career. For this series, she also formed the musical unit Hack'nBerry with her co-star Anna Nagase, who voiced the character Hack. Together, they performed the ending theme song for the anime, titled Aimuin Love.

Beyond animation, Kawakatsu has been active in voice-over work for foreign films and television series, a field known as fukikame in Japanese. Her dubbing credits span several years and include a range of characters. In 2018, she voiced Theo Klein in the series The Haunting of Hill House. The following year, she took on roles in the film The Last Thing He Wanted as Camara and in the series Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events for its third season. Her later dubbing work includes the character Foreward in the 2021 film We Can Be Heroes, Claire Fitzroy in the 2022 film The Gray Man, and Ji-young in the 2023 South Korean film Kill Boksoon.

Kawakatsu has also appeared in stage performances, including a role in a dramatic reading production produced by Yutaka Mizushima titled Warau Roudoku.
