Mari Toudou

Description
Mari Toudou is a Japanese voice actress who has been active in the anime industry since at least the mid-2000s. Her career encompasses a range of roles in both television anime and video games, demonstrating her versatility in voicing different character types.

One of her earlier and more prominent roles was as Emiko Miura in the shoujo anime series Gokujō!! Mecha Mote Iinchō, which began airing in 2009. Emiko is a close friend and classmate of the protagonist, Mami Gokou, and serves as a supportive figure within the show's focus on fashion, friendship, and school life. Around the same time, Toudou was cast as Kuuka Hashira in the anime adaptation of the PlayStation game Gunparade Orchestra. Kuuka is a member of the elite 108th Guard Platoon, piloting a humanoid walking tank known as a HIT in a world struggling against alien invaders, a role that placed her in a more dramatic and action-oriented series.

In addition to these roles, Toudou's filmography includes voicing Kurara in the video game series Summon Night, such as in Summon Night 3, where her character is a central figure in the game's story. Her work in the early 2010s also includes a role in the series Beelzebub, contributing to the show's large cast of characters. While her major roles are primarily concentrated in this period, her work in both leading and supporting roles across different genres has established her as a capable performer in the voice acting community.
