Mari Orito
Description
Mari Orito is a Japanese voice actor affiliated with the agency I'm Enterprise. She was born in Tokyo on July 25, 1980. Her career in television animation began in 2006, with early roles in the series Yoshimune, where she played a kunoichi, and Welcome to the NHK, for which she voiced multiple characters including a chair and a telephone. She also had a role in the Ginga Tetsudō Monogatari: Eien e no Bunkiten series that same year.
In 2009, Orito was part of the cast for the anime adaptation of the video game Slap Up Party: Arad Senki, providing the voice for the character Purohen as well as other supporting roles such as Sister A and a snake. Her other credits from that year include a student role in the series White Album. Later voice acting work includes appearances in the 2012 anime series Kuromajyo-san ga Tōru!! as Maria Sanctuary and in Kick no Oni as a female student, in addition to roles in Football Knights and an episode of Crayon Shin-chan.
Beyond animation, Orito has been involved in other areas of voice work. She appeared in the drama CD B Ichi in the role of GET-kun. She also served as a host for the radio programs Viva Windows Live! and the internet television show Mōsō Dokuhon no Tsukurikata, and was an assistant on the Monster Hunter Radio program. Orito is known among her peers for her skill in drawing caricatures and is recognized as an avid fan of the Monster Hunter video game series.
