Daisuke Kirii is a Japanese voice actor and narrator born on July 23, 1975, in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. He is a graduate of Dokkyo University and later trained at the Amusement Media Academy. Kirii is affiliated with the talent management firm Office Osawa. Kirii began his professional career in the early 2000s, with one of his first roles being in the television anime Ayashi no Ceres in 2000. His credited debut in a major television anime came in 2003 with roles in series such as Texhnolyze and The Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok. He gained wider recognition and a significant career breakthrough in 2006 when he was cast as the stoic and gentle Takashi "Mori" Morinozuka in the popular series Ouran High School Host Club. This role brought him considerable attention and established him in the industry.
