Chifuyu is a Japanese female voice actor, also known by her full name and former stage name, Yonemura Chifuyu. She was born on December 22nd in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. A graduate of the Shoto Actors Gymnasium, she began her career affiliated with KeKKe Corporation until February 2012, after which she joined her current agency, Nexeed, in March of the same year.

Chifuyu has built a career voicing characters in a variety of media, including television animation, original video animations, and video games. In television, her roles have included the young Nicola in the 2000 series Fabulous Tono and, more recently, Meika in True Cooking Master Boy in 2019. She has also been a recurring voice in long-running series such as Crayon Shin-chan, where she has voiced various young women, neighbors, and news anchors, as well as Nintama Rantaro, in which she plays a mother. Her film work includes a role in the 2022 Crayon Shin-chan: Mononoke Ninja Chinpūden. In original video animation, she is credited with a role as a villager in the 2009 work Cobra The Animation: Time Drive.

Chifuyu has been particularly active in video game voice work. She is known for providing the Japanese voice of the character Echo in the globally popular game Overwatch. She has also voiced characters in the Wand of Fortune series, taking on the role of Adele Mason across multiple titles from 2009 to 2012. Her game credits further include Cube in Princess Maker 4 and roles in the Super Robot Wars and Record of Agarest War series. She has also contributed to mobile games, voicing characters such as Tamamo-no-Mae in Onmyōji.

A significant portion of her work is in dubbing foreign films and television series, known as fukikae. Her dubbing credits span a wide range, from providing the Japanese voice for Viper in the animated series Jackie Chan Adventures to Colleen Wing in the Marvel live-action series Iron Fist and The Defenders. She has also lent her voice to characters in major Hollywood films such as Avengers: Endgame and the Sharknado series.
