Annamaria Mantovani was an Italian voice actress known for her work in the Italian dubs of numerous anime series and films. Her career spanned several decades, and she passed away on 19 November 2021 in Milan, Italy. Mantovani's voice was featured prominently in a wide array of anime titles adapted for Italian television during the 1990s and early 2000s. She often took on roles of mothers, narrators, and other mature female characters. A significant portion of her work was in dubbing fairy tale-based series. She voiced the Fairy Godmother and the Stepmother in the anthology series World Fairy Tale Series. In the series Thumbelina: A Magical Story, she was the voice of the character Fata Fiorella. Beyond these specific examples, her filmography in Italian-dubbed anime is extensive. She provided the Italian narration for several series, including Hello! Sandybell, Idol Densetsu Eriko, and Katri, the Cow Girl. Her other notable voice roles included Signora Madre in Cinderella Monogatari, Martha in Fist of the North Star - Legend of Raoh: Chapter of Death in Love, Suzie Q. in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure OVAs, and Ermelinda in Tongari Bōshi no Memoru and its OAV sequel.
