Anri Shiono is a Japanese former voice actress, born on May 2nd in Chiba Prefecture, who was active in the industry from the early 2000s until her retirement in 2011. She began her career under the stage name Yukako Yoshikawa before changing it to Anri Shiono in October 2007. Over the course of her career, she was affiliated with several talent agencies, including 81 Produce and later JTB Entertainment, until her departure from the industry. One of her earlier notable roles under the name Yukako Yoshikawa was as Tsukasa Kasuga in the 2006 television anime series Tokimeki Memorial Only Love. Following her name change, she continued to secure prominent voice work. She is recognized for her role as Rico in the 2008 anime series Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino, the second season of the adaptation. That same year, she voiced the character Mary Chupacabra W. Whitebear, also known as Hunting Maria, in the original net animation Penguin Girl (Penguin Musume Heart). Her other anime credits from this period include roles in Tytania as Kallen and in Nagasarete Airantou. Beyond animation, her career encompassed work in video games, such as providing the Japanese voice for Eileen in Virtua Fighter 5 and Elesis in Grand Chase, as well as performing on character song albums, including tracks for the Gunslinger Girl franchise. In 2011, after graduating from Aoyama Gakuin University with a degree in economics, Shiono retired from voice acting to pursue a career in a design company.
