Sora Hinokage is a Japanese light novel author and manga original creator who began their professional career on February 10, 2021. Their work first appeared as web novels on the Shosetsuka ni Narou website starting in June 2020, a common pathway for many contemporary Japanese authors. This early online presence led to a commercial debut with the light novel series Kono Boukensha, Jinruishi Saikyou desu, published by Earth Star Entertainment.
Hinokage is credited as the original creator for several manga series that began as light novels. One such work is Inchiki Seijo to Iwareta node, Kuni wo Dete Nonbiri Kurasou to Omoimasu. The original story was published as a web novel in July 2020, and the light novel edition, featuring illustrations by Chum, was released by Earth Star Entertainment in May 2021. A manga adaptation illustrated by Akeko Suzu ran from January 2022 until its conclusion in October 2025, with the sixth and final volume released in December of that year.
Another notable original work credited to Hinokage is Onna Kajishi wa Ohitoyoshi Guild ni Hirowaremashita: Shintenchi de Ganbaru Kajishi Seikatsu. This series, for which Hinokage provides the original story, has been serialized as a manga in the magazine Dengeki Daioh beginning in March 2022, with illustrations by Ito Momoi.
