Rei Shimoda

Rei Shimoda is a Japanese voice actress affiliated with the talent agency Ken Production. She was born on October 6th and is from Saitama, Japan.
Shimoda is perhaps best known for her work in major video game franchises. She has voiced prominent characters in Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda series, including Urbosa in both Breath of the Wild and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, and the character of Impa in Skyward Sword. She also voiced the former Sage of Lightning in the game's sequel, Tears of the Kingdom.
In addition to her video game roles, Shimoda has an extensive body of work in anime. She has been a part of the long-running Sylvanian Families series of anime shorts, appearing in multiple installments including Sylvanian Families: Mini Story, Sylvanian Families: Mini Story Clover, and Sylvanian Families: Mini Story Ivy. In these series, she has voiced characters such as the Maple Neko Mother and Piers. In Sylvanian Families: Mini Story Clover, she was also credited for voicing the character Kuma-kun (the bear child). Other anime credits include a role in the series Concrete Revolutio: Choujin Gensou and a role in Kuroko's Basketball. In 2019, she voiced the character Mayuko Kurosaka in the smartphone anime adaptation of the manga Ero Lover. She also voiced the character Marishiten in the video game Izumo 3.
