Kanako Tateno is a Japanese voice actress born on January 4, 1980, in Miyagi Prefecture. She began her career in 1999 and is affiliated with the talent agency Aoni Production. Tateno has built a diverse filmography across anime, video games, and original video animations, taking on a wide range of roles.

Tateno is known for several prominent anime roles. She voiced Itsuki in both the original 2011 web anime and the 2015 television series adaptation of Hōkago no Pleiades (Wish Upon the Pleiades). In the fantasy series Fairy Musketeers, she played the role of Shirayuki-hime (Snow White) in both the 2005 OVA and the 2006 television series. Her other notable anime credits include Nata San Taishi (Nezha) in the 2005 series Patalliro Saiyuki! and Kiyomi Shimamura in the 2005 OVA Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu. She also voiced Nami in the 2007 OVA series Yawaraka Sangokushi Tsukisase!! Ryofuko-chan. Early in her career, she appeared in long-running series such as One Piece, voicing the character Longo in 2003.

Beyond these roles, Tateno's career includes significant voice work in video games. She is recognized for voicing Elisa Dolittle Naruse in the 2009 PSP game Tokimeki Memorial 4. She also provided the voice for Cecilia in the popular simulation games Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon (2006) and its sequel Rune Factory 2 (2008). Her game credits also include Korin in Tales of Symphonia (2003) and Amy in Soulcalibur III (2005).
