Kahoru Fujino
Description
Kaoru Fujino is a Japanese voice actress born on May 21, 1972, in Kochi and raised in Tokyo. She is affiliated as a freelance voice actress. Fujino is a graduate of the ARTSVISION affiliated Japan Narration Acting Institute. During her time there, she formed the idol group Cristal A with fellow students, including椎名碧流.
Fujino's career spans animation, original video animations, and video games, with significant activity during the 1990s. In her early OVA work, she voiced the character Puchit in the educational series Seimei no Kagaku Micro Patrol in 1991. She played the role of Ai Tenpoji in the 1993 OVA My My Mai. In the 1995 OVA Stainless Night, she is credited in the role of Linear. Other notable anime roles include Kim Dong Hwan in the Fatal Fury film series, and supporting parts in television series such as Slayers Next and The Brave of Gold Goldran.
Fujino is particularly well-recognized for her work in video games. She provided the voices for both Rockman (Mega Man) and Roll in Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes and its sequel, Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes. She also voiced the character Elena in Street Fighter III: New Generation and Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact. A significant role was that of the heroine Cornet Espoir in the Nippon Ichi Software game The Puppet Princess of Marl Kingdom and its sequels.
Throughout her career, Fujino has also been active in radio drama CDs and was a member of the band Ruururu, which appeared on the television program Koe♥Yu Kurabu.
