Sayuri Furukawa is a Japanese voice actress, entrepreneur, and media personality born on August 23, 1984, in Nagasaki Prefecture. Her career in the entertainment industry began at a young age when she won the Grand Prix at the 22nd Horipro Talent Scout Caravan in 1997, an achievement that launched her career after competing against approximately 30,000 applicants. Initially, her work focused primarily on television entertainment programs.

Furukawa later pursued specialized voice acting training, becoming a scholarship student through a competitive selection process for the 20th class at the Japan Narration Acting Institute. This training marked her transition toward a career centered on voice work. During her time with the agency I'm Enterprise, she focused mainly on narration activities. In 2008, she transferred to the agency KeiDash Stage. Beyond performance, Furukawa has taken on leadership roles in the industry, founding a voice training school called Visei Labo in August 2016. By February 2019, she established her own talent agency and audio production company, Toypritz, where she serves as CEO while continuing her active career as a voice actress.

As a voice actress, Furukawa has contributed to a range of anime, video games, and narration work. One of her notable anime roles is Ena Gakuno in the 2010 special Shoka, a requestor-provided example of her work. She is also known for the role of Meiko Shiraki in the anime Prison School.
