Yoshiaki Matsumoto is a Japanese voice actor born on December 5, 1972, in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. He is affiliated with Honeycomb Entertainment and has previous agency experience with Media Force and Jac in Production. In the industry, he is also widely known by his stage name, Yoshirou Matsumoto, with Yoshiaki Matsumoto being his real name. He stands 182 cm tall. For work in adult-oriented content, he uses the alias Hikage Hyuuga.

Matsumoto has built a career spanning numerous anime series and films since the 1990s, demonstrating versatility across a range of character types. Among his notable roles is the character Corkus in the Berserk: Golden Age Arc film trilogy, which includes The Egg of the King, The Battle for Doldrey, and The Advent. He also voiced Phinks in the Hunter x Hunter OVA series. His filmography includes a variety of other prominent series such as Bleach, where he voiced a Shinigami, and The Prince of Tennis. Additional credits include roles in Eureka Seven, Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad, and Hungry Heart: Wild Striker.

Matsumoto has been part of several projects that demonstrate recurring professional relationships with other industry figures. He has worked on multiple occasions with director Akitarō Daichi, including on the series Animation Runner Kuromi and its sequel, as well as DD Fist of the North Star and Ouran High School Host Club. The School Days franchise is another example of a series where he took on a recurring role, voicing Taisuke Sawanaga in both the main television series and the subsequent Valentine Days OVA. In the comedy-adventure series Patalliro Saiyuki!, he provided the voices for both Cho Hakkai and Zhu Bajie.
