Vanessa Garcel is the former professional name of Silvia Vanessa Arvizu Garza, a Mexican voice actress and dubbing professional born on June 3, 1974. She is also widely known by her current name, Vanessa Arvizu, and comes from a family with a strong legacy in Mexican dubbing, being the daughter of Rubén Arvizu and Sylvia Garcel, and niece of renowned voice actors Rocío Garcel, Jorge Roig, and Jorge Arvizu el Tata.

Her career encompasses both performance and extensive production work within the dubbing industry. She has held significant managerial positions, serving as dubbing manager at DAT Doblaje Audio Traducción from 1999 to 2001, where she oversaw various Disney Character Voices International projects. She later became executive director of Audiomaster 3000 from 2001 to 2003 and worked as a producer at LaboPrime from 2014 to 2017. Her executive experience also includes a role as CBO of the Argentine company Caja de Ruidos and, more recently, as dubbing creative manager at the Mexican company TV Group.

In the realm of anime voice acting, she is recognized for her role as Yuri Hayakawa in the film The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. Her other notable anime credits include providing the voice for the young Rini (Sailor Chibi-Moon) in the Sailor Moon R television series and the film Sailor Moon S: The Movie, as well as voicing the character in her initial appearances in the main Sailor Moon series. Her work in the franchise also includes voicing the characters Kuri and Sabrina in the original Sailor Moon series. Additional anime roles include parts in the 1980 Astro Boy series and an episode of Gegege no Kitarō.

Beyond acting, her contributions to anime localization have extended to production and direction. She served as the dubbing director for the Mexican Spanish dub of the Inuyasha television series at Audiomaster and was involved in the production management for the Mexican dub of Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F.
