Himeko Shimura is a Japanese actress and voice actress known for her role in the anime series Sasami: Magical Girls Club. She was born on February 11, 1991, in Tokyo. Shimura began her career in entertainment as a child actor, working under her real name, Himeko Shimura, with the Tokyo Children's Theatre, a group affiliated with Spacecraft Entertainment.
Shimura's most prominent voice acting role came in 2006 when she was cast as Misao Shinohara in the first season of the magical girl anime Sasami: Magical Girls Club. She reprised this role for the series' second season, which aired from 2006 to 2007. In the series, a spin-off of the Tenchi Muyo! franchise, her character Misao is one of the main protagonists and a member of the titular club.
